The Success of Living

When we evaluate success by who's standards are we gauging this by? If we allow others to be that gauge for us we are surely to get off track and be taken away by the rapid waters of life. However, if we know from within success then we allow things to unfold naturally and effortlessly.

One person might feel success is having a million dollars in his bank account, while all along being left miserable and lonely. Then another person may feel total success by the number of people s/he has around without any money at all. But is it really about friends and/or money?

True success is when we are able to wake up each and everyday and live life. This doesn't mean shutting ourselves down out of fear of who's going to take advantage of us. It doesn't mean closing ourselves off to relationships because we fear the power in which they hold, but rather we limit ourselves because we know who we are.

Success is our ability to get up and know that we did what we were suppose to do with the thoughts that entered our mind. Last night as I watched "Sweet Genius" he told a contestant, "A genius is able to adapt to any situation". I looked at my husband and I knew immediately that the reason a genius can adapt to any situation is because they are allowing the inspiration of Source to flow through them. They aren't worrying about controlling it in order to NOT allow something to happen, but rather they welcome it. It allows them to use the computer part of their brain to solve a problem.


Problem solving is our true success, our ability to solve problems. We love it as humans, it's an adventure for us. Sure there are those that wish they could just have everything in life and never have to worry about another thing, but come on, how exciting is that? You can worry yourself in living within a box and be completely unhappy because you want out of your box, that would be your problem you wish to solve. That is your challenge. It's the one you brought in to allow yourself to be the genius.

The success of living is simply allowing Source to flow through you, to inspire you, and to solve what appears to be a problem. But really there are no problems, just situations you've not been able to recognize as your gift from above.

I don't gauge my success based on what others think I do right or wrong in my work force, but my ability to comprehend and expand on the lessons I'm being given. Of course the more I expand into my divine self the harder the issue seems to be, the more intense the situation may appear, and the more I want to give up. But the reality of it is, there is no giving up. We are here to learn, expand, and solve.....if we don't do it now we'll do it later.

Successful living means that the ego will do everything in its power to rob you of your ability to be HONEST. And there we have it! Honesty, is success. If you lie about one thing during your day you are not living in success. If you have hidden another in order for you to lie about who you really are, what you really lack, or what your true feelings and intentions are, then you will NOT be successful. Sure it will appear like you are, but that will only be an illusion. All illusions fall apart!

The funny thing about illusions is they don't fall apart right away. The ego will keep that particular illusion in place as long as you are feeding it. Feeding it with lies. Once the ego feels threatened that someone or something is getting ready to rob it of its status quo, it will create another lie.

Successful living is being honest, being the genius, being inspired, and living life in integrity.
