Autumn

There is a feeling of Autumn in the air this morning. As I went outside to check the birds and let the animals out the wind was blowing and the air was cool. Cool enough that I wanted to put on a sweater or jacket. It was nice to experience such a relief from the heat that we've been experiencing lately.

How do we express relief from being repressed? We are so into this mind set that we have to follow so many rules that we forget just to have fun. Nature reminds us and is reminding us everyday that it's to be different, to go with the wind.

What I'm speaking about here are the feelings that are put upon us to act this way or that way in order to be accepted, to feel good about ourselves and to only do what everyone else wants from us. This keeps us imprisoned within a society that is fragile.

Nature helps us to see that the only way we free ourselves is by being ourselves. And when we've had rules and restrictions placed upon us then we are surely to act them out in a very negative way. However, if we are able to release the repressed person inside of us then we flow into a natural state again.

A person feeling frustrated or angry because people aren't doing their job has pent up energy, this energy must be released in order to allow the person the freedom to think more clearly, more creatively. If this feeling is now repressed then this can become distructive to the individual on a much deeper level.

My step father always encouraged us to express our anger. He said that it made us healthier to have it out in the open rather than repressing it. He also let us know that when experiencing anger in the moment allows a clearing effect to occur that would not have negative results later on down the line.

If you are angry because society or people have told you you must act this way, be this or that, or even have tried to conform to what you think other people want in order to get a job, secure a relationship, or to earn anything in life, it will not be sustainable.

Release the autumn within you, allow the shift and change of temperature come from within by looking at where you resist your feelings.
