I normally only do one blog post per day but I thought this was worth mentioning. I had a friend that was just so upset about how many spiritual workers there are these days. "When I first started this journey no one would talk to me. Everyone thought that I had lost my mind. Now everyone is doing it and I can't get anyone to listen to me."
I pondered over this for a moment while I listened with full attention. This story was very familiar to ones that I've been hearing for about a year now. People are always asking me, "Why are people driving all the way from Dallas to see you? How do people find you?"
I asked my friend, "What really is the situation?" After some time of reflection she said it was that everyone was in the self help field now and business was hard to come by.
"What business is that?"
"The business of helping others in liberation, ease and joy in their lives."
"What feelings do you have regarding this situation?"
"I'm frustrated and don't know what to do?"
"So what you are asking people to do is come to you for services when you yourself are frustrated and not knowing of what to do. I wouldn't want to come to you either. No matter how much information you shared with me if it's not reflective in your life then I don't want it. And if I do want it it's only because I still need to learn something about myself. But that's when we know an honest no and an honest yes. So what are you thinking about when you believe this situation?"
"That I don't know what to do now. There are no jobs in the market and this is all I know."
"What are you gaining in your life by holding on to that situation?"
"Frustration, pain, lack of money, no clients."
"What are you losing holding on to that belief?"
"I'm losing money, time, focus, peace, joy and love."
"Why did you leave your job to do this? And why do you feel this is all that you can do now?"
"Well, I left my job so that I could do this full time. I felt like, at the time, that I could reach more people."
"How's that working for you? How many people do you reach a day now that you've left your job? And how many people, when you were working needed you?"
"That's funny, that's why I left. Everyone told me I should do this full time."
"Right, so you left a way to connect with people and then put extra stress on yourself because you felt like you had something that people needed. But what did they have that you needed?"
"Connection!"
"There are lots of ways to connect with people. And lots of ways to get clients. Those other people out there doing the same thing as you is like saying we have too many barbers in the world. You can't cut everyones hair. And you can't service everyones spiritual needs. If you think you are the only one to be able to do that, you'll quickly learn about your own greed because now you will experience lack."
"Then I'm experiencing greed because I don't have but a few clients and their not even enough to pay my bills."
"So you are saying that you are in the business of freeing everyone from their troubles, reprogram their minds, and shed their beliefs that are holding them back and yet you suffer from the same disease as they do. This is okay. Because now you can use your experience in helping others by "RELATING" to them."
Folks, many spiritual people out there claim that you'll be done with sickness, you'll be done with lack, you'll be abundant, and you'll have ease and flow in your life. Is that real. We all are here to experience life and all that it has to offer. The truth of where it all lives within you is how you are feeling about it. If you are broke and happy with what you have in your life right at that moment then you are rich.
Being abundant, being a millionaire, or even having 20 cars does not make a person rich. If you are experiencing any form of lack then what you are saying is you are aware you are not abundant. Simple but true.
How many clients will it take for you to feel you are doing your job? Well if this is the question then you'll soon find out that one will feel the same as 1000.
Now, on another note. I hear you and I'm listening to your worries about all the spiritual people in business now. Aren't we glad that there are? Aren't we happy now that people are starting to wake up and taking responsibility for their lives? Are we jsut so excited that we are not beating our heads up against the brick wall any more trying to expose people to that reality.
Look if you are upset that people don't want what you have, aren't you still creating the same problem that we are in right now? Think about that for a moment! If we all are enlightened, if we are all taking responsibility, and if we are all spiritual what are you worried about? What job will you do then. Well guess what....I like how that reality is. I'm actually loving it with all of my being.
I could give you all the information I know and exactly how I've applied that in my life. But when it comes right down to it, YOU HAVE TO FIND YOUR OWN WAY OUT. Sure there are people to assist you on your journey, but it will be you yourself that will pull you through it. How do I know? Metatron.
That's all I'm going to say for now. I welcome questions on this topic. I welcome your comments. And thank you my friend for allowing me to share your story.
I have a brand new ebook coming out soon to help those in situations just like this. This is my story of how I listened to inner guidance and allowed people to come to me from all over. There are times I need a break and I thank God for those moments. He knows what's best for me. I usually take off every 3 months and leave for a whole week or a long weekend. It's important to leave all work behind at that moment.
So if you are interested in the ebook please email me and just let me know so that you'll be one of the first to receive my special offer.
Love, Velvete
