There are folks that ask me all the time, why do you believe what you believe, where does that kind of thinking come from? The best answer I can give these people is within. We are all connected to God and we all have our illusions, roles, dramas, plays or whatever else you want to call it, to play.
I've been in education most of my life. My step-father and his family were all educators and I had some of the best opportunities a kid could ask for in that regards. I remember as early as Pre K asking my teacher for extra sheets to take home. Oh my gosh, no wonder my middle sister hated school, LOL.... She was worn out with by the time she got there. I used to sit for hours teaching my baby sisters things I'd learned in school. LOL
I say that I'm an old soul and really it doesn't matter whether I am or not. But what does matter is what drives me within to seek the light. I feel that I'm ready to graduate and move forward.
Think about it like our years in school. Many of us start out in Pre-K and we are just so absorbed in what we are playing, learning, doing and more that we just love going to school and seeing our friends. We don't realize that there's a reason for us to be there. In 3rd grade we are starting to be asked to really perform, to show that we understand the concepts and information we have been given for the past 3 years. We're still liking school at this point. But by the time we get to junior high we are asking ourselves, "When is this going to be over? I'm so ready to get out of school." Then we hit high school, we have plans either to get a job or to go to college. Some of us do it all, go to school and to college, and some of us don't do either. And then there are some that will just go to work doing whatever they feel they need to do at that time and space in their life.
Life is like school, we start out really liking it because we have so many distractions and pretty things to look at. We've got so many pretty things around us that we are completely absorbed into the material world. Then as we get older we start asking questions like, "Why am I here?", "Who is God?", "Who am I?". These questions are the same questions we begin to ask ourselves in High School and we begin a new plan or program. This can happen at different times for different people, there is no right or wrong. Some people have to wake up from the illusion at an earlier age to assist those of us that will be needing the knowledge at a particular time in our lives. We all have an enlighten being right beside us. Someone is always there to help us along our path, the path that we have designed within God's Will.
There are days that I really like playing the part of a wife, especially when it's his birthday. There is a certain feeling of spirit that comes over me each and every year for him at that time. Maybe it's because it's just after Thanksgiving and the weather has changed I don't know. But I love feeling Spirit, I love the smell, I love the feeling, I love the LOVE.
There are days that I love playing the part of a massage therapist and then other days I could care less to play that part. But what I have learned about myself allows me to better understand that it's okay, that they are just roles to play while on this journey. They are no who I am.
So the next time you hear someone say, "I'm an old soul and I'm ready just to stop the madness." They are probably at the stage of career/college in their lives. This is not to be taken literally but metaphorically. They know that they've been busy "doing" in their lives with little deep spiritual meaning or depth to it all and are now seeking meaning. They "feel" they've been here before and are ready to "be" some place else.
Well, that's the first step in being in the heart. There is no other place to go to. No other planet, no other country, no other home. It's all within a person. If you don't like where you are, you probably have some unfinished business in clearing up your stuff. I know all too well about moving things out of my life before clearing up the reason they are in my life, I just re-create the whole situation all over again, just in a different color.
I remember when the government said they were looking at the moon as a place for people to live. I turned to my husband and said, "Moving to the moon isn't going to solve the problem of their pollution, greed, war, and harm to another." We have to begin solving the problems that we have and then we would have the resources necessary to live in peace, harmony and grace.
There is so much more I could write about this subject, much of it's already in my book, "The Emotional Nature of Man and Spirit; The Necessary Union for a Holistic Government". When I released this book I knew I didn't have a solution within it, but at the time my instructors would not allow me to do that. They informed me that that was only my opinion. That all I needed to do was give the facts. The facts help you to make a decision for yourself in ending your suffering and the suffering of others. So it's a quick read but it gets to the point. I am looking forward to another part of myself completing the word. I look forward to people having something in their hands to use to bring liberation.
Let's move on with a belief statement today and really look at how this plays out in our lives. So let's use something that is real for a lot of people and then go from there. HUM? Got it.
Belief Statement: I really don't like the government telling me how to live my life and this makes me furious. I don't understand how they think they can get by with this. I'm gaining frustration and more bills while losing confidence and hope in our country.
Okay, any point of relationship here for you guys? All it takes is a moment to look at facebook to see what people think and feel about their government. But let's be real for a moment, who is it really that they don't like? What government? Many of these people have been asleep so long that they never knew that a movement was going on within them. Could it be that they are resisting God and the path to enlightenment? It seems to be this is a really strong possibility because if they were good with God's will they would support what is going on. Only the Ego is going to "hate". God is love. Could you imagine a world where we communicated with this love rather than this hate for one another? There would be no need for force.
So there is no government out there, it's only God.
I really don't like God tell me how to live my life and this makes me furious. I don't understand how He thinks He's going to get away with that.
Wow, seems pretty real when we realize that we are only fighting God's Will. People ask me all the time, "Velvete, doesn't what happening in our world right now frighten you?" No it doesn't. And I don't see some of the things that people are asking me to see. It's not because I'm not being real, it's because I am being REAL. I know that all of this is within me. It is written that God is within our heart. John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
How simple this would be if we could just free ourselves to this one simple statement. Why can't we love each other as Christ loved us? BELIEFS!!!!! They are what keep you separated from your heart. Click the links above to learn more of how to move into the heart.
