You're Not Stupid, Just Unwilling

I can remember as a kid always hearing how stupid the human race was. As a child all I'm thinking is, "Am I not a part of this human race?" But even though I got my daily dose of how stupid people were my heart opened. I felt if they were truly stupid then they couldn't help themselves. But as I grew up I realized that they weren't stupid at all, but rather didn't agree with the views of the individual that would call them stupid.

My heart would always take the side of the person now being called stupid and against the person that thought they were better then them. I could see how the individual calling people stupid was the one experiencing pain and suffering, not the other way around.

Through this experience I realized that it is "unwillingness" that leads to ignorance. Whether it be this person unwilling to accept people for who and what they are, or another person unwilling to receive who or what another person is.

What about a person that is living in the past and isn't able to be in the present moment, which causes accidents, crime, greed and all kinds of lower mind activity? It is not that this person is actually stupid, but rather unwilling to be present, to live in the present and to reach for the higher mind.

When we work with people that we witness doing lower mind stuff it is our responsibility to be "WILLING", to stay aware, to stay focused, and to stay present only in the moment. If we drift into the past and pull up crap that doesn't serve the situation then we are being "stupid" because we have just become unwilling to stay present. We are now unwilling to confront what is right in front of us. So now who's stupid, the person getting by with a crime, or are we doing the crime by allowing our unwillingness to knock us into the lower mind? We can see that stupidity is just another name for our own unwillingness to live in the present and to work with what we see immediately. It is this unwillingness that keeps people from being all they were born to be.

Folks, no one is ever stupid, we are just unwilling. We all know what great manipulators we are when it comes to our success; so if you are unwilling to be successful (no matter where in your life) then you are unwilling. This doesn't make you stupid, you'll learn eventually what it will take to succeed or not! It is through your own experiences that either allows your willingness or unwillingness to dominate your life.

Come on, if it weren't for all the people in our past being willing (smart) to experiment and create we wouldn't be where we are right now. And better yet, the level of happiness you have INSIDE allows you to gauge your own willingness. If you are truly happy, not pretending to be happy, then your willingness and miracles will increase in size and occurrence.

However, if you are going around calling people stupid then you need to stop and take a look around where YOU have been unwilling. I mean we are all one, right? When this individual would scream about how stupid and uncaring people were regarding how others spoke to people I could see clearly how this person would just say whatever they felt without any consideration to others. Of course this put me on the other end of the pendulum and was fearful to speak up and out. But that pendulum does have to come back the other way and we have to learn balance and understanding. We all have to learn what we are unwilling to do in order to understand better what we need to be willing to do.

The only way we can move beyond the borders of illusion is by being WILLING.
