Responsible Power

It's Sunday morning at 5:30am and I'm wide awake. As I walked outside to greet the morning I could see the cloud cover and felt a gentle awakening within the breeze. Fluff the cat wanting to be held within my arms this morning as I prepared myself for what I needed and wanted to write about, giving me clues of just how graceful our true power really is.

As I woke from my dreams this morning I was left with a very real feeling of just how powerful we are as a human race. Each and every day is an opportunity to either surrender this power, or step into it's true strength and allow it to carry us further into the Divine Will and Power of God.

So why would we give such a power away? Easy, how many of you fear going further into God? Well, if you're not sure here's how it might appear that you are afraid. Any form of separation from your brother shows you fear uniting with God. We are all one. And even though there are many societies, groups, religions and blah, blah, blah's that teach this, rarely are they able to completely accept this teaching. I'm not going to pick on one religion or group, but rather allow you to think on your own, wherever you are in your religious or spiritual practices right now and ask yourself, how many times do I talk bad about my brother or sister, how many times do I lie to get what I want, how many times do I say that I am right and they are wrong?

Now I'm going to show you how true power isn't about making anyone wrong or right or trying to prove a point, but rather being the light that shines on all darkness. This light doesn't have to come from the reactive mind, but can come from the most powerful place of all, the responsive mind. I like to call the responsive mind the mind that is responsible for light. It is through the responsive mind that we are able to clearly shine the light without judgment. That's not to say that the person receiving the light might not become "reactive" while you are showing light, their own reaction will only validate for themselves their fear.

But people say, "Yes, but who's light is right?" When you are "thinking" you are sharing light and you are warning people, making people fearful, making people react quickly from the information you are feeding them, then you are not sharing light but more darkness from your own reactive mind.

And this one is the best trick of all is when you decide not to share light or information with people because you think that you have to protect the information or protect your brothers from the information. Now you are in the biggest ego trip of all. Coming from a place of authority can leave us empty while feeling superior, but there will never be any form of power in a superior mentality, that is ego. Not one single person is the authority of or over ANY information, this is control. Even groups that say that we are all one will find themselves divided and their groups dying off because we are moving into a state of consciousness that divides nothing.

What will you do for a living if everyone was able to have this awareness? It's that kind of thought that is leaving people living in the reactive mind during this shift in consciousness and awareness behind and not being able to make a living. They are living in a state of lack and when we live in a state of lack we want to control everything, we can't help ourselves. It's a security for us to just give out a little of the information in order to not allowing people to really wake up, but just wake up enough to keep them wanting us more. You must trust each individual to know when they are ready and not ready.

When we share information of light we are allowing and accepting of how the person receives the information for them self, it's not up to us but rather we leave that work to the greater divine.

It's truly when we desire to show just how powerful our own will is over another, or over God that we continue to separate ourselves from Unity. And we are all human, we're here to enjoy our experience, but each and everyday that we come closer to our true power calls for more responsibility in how we respond to our environment. Will it be one of greed keeping people below you, or will it be one of abundance and share your light with the world and be a reflection of the God within?

For me, I realized the other day just by looking at people with the love from within me can change them in an instant. It's through this look that we are able to communicate, "I know you are hurting right now and I have compassion for you, but everything is going to be okay."

Folks, it's all going to be okay because it is okay now. Just wake up and join with your brother instead of trying to have power over him. Realize that he is you and you are him.

My children found their biological father and as soon as they started talking to him he immediately told his story. It matters not whether his story is true or not, I will not validate it here because to do so would mean I would have to defend myself against a power that is not real. But as he spoke bad of our lives together and put me and the rest of the family down my children knew within a moment that this was not a person they wanted in their lives.

You see I never spoke bad of their father, only of the love that I had for him. As they spoke about their experience with him talking so negatively my eyes filled with tears and I began to sob. I told them that I was so sorry for what they had to experience, but that I knew they were the people they were because I always held love in my heart and mind for their father. When my son would do something funny I would remind him of how his real father was exactly the same way. When he grew up and became a truck driver I was now able to share stories with him of how his real grandfather did the same exact thing, and how he acts a lot like his grandfather, and he really, really does. Matter of fact their grandfather had the most influence over them even though he was never a part of their lives because he loved them. He was responsible with his power.

Where can you become more responsible with your power? Will it be to bring harm to another or lift them into the light? Each and everyday is a chance to awaken to the beauty within us by simply being responsible with our power.

Enjoy,
Dr. Velvete
