Truly, if someone asked if you'd like lobster today and you hate lobster you KNOW you are going to say NO. There is no doubt about it, the decision is clear and you know that you are not going to eat lobster no matter how much someone else may want you to do so. So why can't we be that clear in our everyday lives?
When we don't know what we want we are allowing others to dictate our actions, our moods, our ability to create and think. We might even become angry and want to blame someone else for where we are in life, we make excuses for not taking ownership of not being clear and ASKING for what we want. "Ask and you shall receive" is true. It happens each and everyday. But it is only through your own clarity of what this is for you that allows for whatever you ask for to appear. And when we begin a cycle of doubt it moves through our lives like a parasite, sucking the life out of everything that we do.
Now does this mean that we have to stop doing what others ask of us? Absolutely not! The beauty of this knowing what you want is that the right people at the right time always, always, always shows up for us. Even if you are employed by another at that very moment that you decided to show up that employer is helping you to achieve your goals. Your goals and his goals may not be the same on a physical level, but that's what's really cool about the whole illusion. We are all playing different parts and roles in this game called life.
However, we do have to know what we want in order to know what we are willing and unwilling to do. It is through this SELF RESPECT that we KNOW what we want. It's not even about being or staying positive. There are times that going deep into the darkness allows us the most freedom from our suffering. I know, I've been to hell and back. But to increase your level of success means being able to know what it is that you want.
The majority rules. I love this one, I love it because it allows us to see that if we are wanting positive growth, awareness, alignment and release but continue to surround ourselves with massive amounts of negative people, places or things then we are setting ourselves up for failure. Why? Because it's not within balance. Can some people walk into a place that is extremely negative and create positive? Absolutely, but it will be in direct relation with how balanced they are in the positive. If your positive bank is depleted and walk into a room full of negativity you will be consumed because you are the odd man out. But if your positive bank is full and flowing over now when you walk into a lot of negativity it will have little to no affect on you at all.
You see so many people "want" but are unwilling to follow the rules. The rules are:
1. Know what you want
2. Know where your energy level is
3. Make sure you don't have any hidden agendas where you are
4. Make sure you are not trying to compete with someone in trying to prove another wrong. My friends this is the rule that will bring you down quicker than anything you've ever experienced. When you are projecting proving someone wrong and yourself right you are in for discord and disharmony, all the way around.
Remember, you know what you want and there is no wrong or right in your decision. That said, the only right thing is following what is right for you. Pick and choose what role you want to play in this next scene in your life, eat it up, live it up, and most of all enjoy it. This is how we learn what we want in life, by being in life.
Enjoy your beautiful Thursday today.
