It is interesting when we still find ourselves seeking shelter from what we believe causes us harm. Whether it be in a process, a release, or even as simple as picking up the phone to call someone to see what message there might be for us.
You see whenever we resist anything we have to ask ourselves, "Why am I resisting that?" There is a passage in the Bible that Jesus tells folks not to go into the houses of those that are evil. But how can this be when he taught the message of love and understanding?
It's simple when you put the pieces of the puzzle together within ourselves. This darkness or evilness can manipulate or take over the mind at anytime for anyone if they are not strong enough to know how they are reflecting this message to themselves first and foremost. The way that I see it he was instructing us to not go into any houses that we are not ready to deal with. It is only through our own willingness to be honest with ourselves in what we are ready to deal with that allows us to connect on a much deeper level.
So as I sit here this beautiful July 4th, Monday I can honestly say that I'm glad that I've gone in to so many of my houses to see what I have built there. I can see where I have been unwilling to heal parts of my life because I saw others separate from myself and wanted to place myself above them by proving others wrong, or by proving myself right. There is no wrong or right, better or worse, but rather simply choosing the rightness of what is in our heart, LOVE. I realize now that the houses that I either resist or that I go so willingly into are only houses that I have built in order to make my dream seem more real. Kind of sounds like "Inception" doesn't it?
Think about how they built their world in order to make it feel more real to them. It became so real to them that they couldn't escape it, they were trapped. The wife placed in one of the houses a memory that she wanted to forget, well what is it that we have forgotten? What memory did we put in a house in order to not deal with it to keep us within this reality and disconnected from what is real.
It's okay to resist, it's also okay to be unwilling, and it's okay to be right where you are right now for it serves you to awaken when it's your time to awaken. But when you are ready to open the doors of those houses that seem dark they will serve you well for there you will find the memory and power that you have only taken from yourself and your connection with Source will expand all around you.
