Take a moment of silence in your life for the gratitude you have in your life but also to send light for those that are suffering. Take a moment to quiet your mind and surround others in loving light. It is truly during times of crisis that we are at our best. We put aside our differences and treat each other with the equality of God that we all are.
When we experience events such as Joplin, MO we aren't going to walk up to someone before rescuing them and ask if they are Christian, if they are Muslim, or if they are Wicca. We are simply going to do what comes natural to us, to live, to love and to support life. You see God didn't put life in our hands as judge or juror, but rather gave us each other to express and experience our deepest love, unity.
Each and every moment of our lives is an opportunity to embrace this reality without having to experience events such as Joplin to help remind us of the love that we have inside. As family members search for survivors their hearts are heavy with grief. Now is the time to silence ourselves and lift our hearts, our light, our love and compassion to all of those in need, without judgment.
I had an employee one day tell me about Judgment day and said she was fearful for my soul. I asked why would she be concerned about me and what made her think that I was unworthy of God's Love. She continued to tell me that I didn't understand God's word and that I didn't fear God and said that I would not make the cut. I smiled and asked her what happens when that day comes and she proceeded to tell me the disasters upon the face of earth.
I became very humbled and sad all at the same time. With tears in my eyes I looked at her after she finished screaming the doom "at" me, I smiled and said, "Then it is my place to be here for those left behind in order to assist them with their suffering. I will gladly accept whatever fate God has for me for He knows best my heart, not any man. If it means I am left behind in such an event then I will do my best to comfort my brothers in sisters in sharing my love and light without judgment or disconnection based on some mans prediction. I will do my best to continue to be the Love that I am right now in whatever event takes place. Each day is an opportunity for me to stay within the peace and love of God, not the fear and disconnect and judgment that fear brings."
Of course the days after that did not go so well and we soon parted ways. Her fear was so grand that her daily thought processes were hindered and she could not function without a break down, without projecting fear, and without doom and dread.
Folks, silence yourselves and go within to see the love, be the light, and enjoy life. Whatever happens always be in the moment and share with your brothers and sisters unconditionally. When our brothers are in need we put aside our difference and we unite in the heart. This can happen without a major event happening to prove this is possible.
Enjoy!
