Making the Choice!

As a coach I get to work with a number of people from all backgrounds. I enjoy what I do and find that it's more interesting to see that we all have more in common than we think.

One of the most common things that I see, no matter what religious background a person has is resistance. In HMLM we talk about this resistance and how does it get started. Resistance starts when you are unwilling to let go of the illusion. The illusion that you ever separated from God at all. This can appear in many different ways, and just because someones life appears to have everything doesn't mean they aren't experience what a homeless person might be. Actually the homeless person may be closer to God than the millionair.

When I speak to clients and give them the run down regarding projections and reflections they do all they can to make it about the other person rather than themselves. And of course the ego will strive to twist this because it has a lot to lose, the power in which you've surrender to it.

As I look back on my life I realized there were many times that I just allowed what I knew to be true to be set aside and gave my power over to my ego. I was actually assisted as a youth in seeing this by being the one picked on all the time. The only time I didn't get picked on was when I stood up for someone else.

There are therapist out there that are in place on earth in order for you to remain in the illusion because it's not only paying their bills but stroking their egos too. I mean come on, if they can agree with you that so and so really did this to you aren't they now your best friend?

I'm not your best friend! I'm the person that your ego doesn't like so much. But then there comes a day that your ego and you both love me because now you are able to see that it was designed to work with you, not against you.

Everyone wants to run away from the ego, ascend beyond the ego, or kill the ego. Well I'm here to tell you that the ego isn't real. It's only another part of you that you have altered in order to surrender your identity and not own up to who and what you are. But as long as we've made it real, why not use it for the purpose of it's true design. To see what you are hiding from!!!

If you are not ready to move beyond the shadows and into the light then this is perfectly okay. In the meantime if you are ready to move from the shadows and move more into the light, then EVERY single thing around you is your ticket to do so. Every SINGLE thing is to let you know where you are in your heart. Do you feel love? Do you feel peace?

Many of people are unemployeed in the US right now. Many are still clinging to that someone else is going to GIVE them a JOB. However, there are millions of us that have realized the powerful beings that we are and are doing things that we love, that are not of the normal structure in life and are able to create the resources necessary for our everyday lives. We've turned things that we love to do into ways in supporting ourselves.

Many of you know that I do coaching and massage. I love doing both of these things but they are hard on the body, mentally and physically. So what I do for fun is make things. I love allowing the creative part of me to just enjoy itself. So maybe while watching TV I might make a loaf of bread, or make a piece of art, or I might even sew. When I sit down to read I'm usually inspired so I keep a pad and pen with me so that when a thought of inspiration arrives I'm ready to write it down. I'm showing God that I am willing to do my part.

There are folks out there that say, "Yes, I'm doing my part. I'm filling out applications, I'm applying where I can." Well then, good luck to all of you that are doing that. My heart goes out to you. Keep seeing the same old patterns in your life, this life and the next. It's okay. You'll wake up from your dream one day. I did!

Maybe, just maybe you are making it uncomfortable enough in your life that you'll desire change more than staying the same.
