As I was driving to my sewing class yesterday morning I heard on the radio the song, "It's great to be an American". The song spoke about how the flag was a symbol of our freedom and that everyone in America is free. They were playing this song because Osama Ben Laden had been killed and they were celebrating his death.
This song was being used as a symbol of how strong, free, and loving this country is/was. But if we look closer we see something else. As I'm listening further to the radio I realized we have learned nothing of what Osama was trying to teach us on a collective level and this hurt. My heart hurt and I cried with sorrow to realize that a life that took on such a horrible responsibility to awaken the consciousness was quickly fading.
It's sad that someone still has to play these types of roles for us in order for us to get it. But all you have to do is check your facebook page to see all the people that were still divided, still fearful, and still gloating.
In the bible Jesus tells us, "Love thine enemies" and Christians everyday are posting this after this capture and killing and then thanking God for the revenge. HUM? Which is it, do you love this man for the life that he lived with the powerful symbol he was giving you or do you love the death of this man in order for you to continue living the dream.
When Jesus was speaking about loving our enemies he literally was trying to tell us to utilize the message they were giving us and apply it into our own lives. When he asked the people to cast the first stone on the prostitue he was asking them to admit their own guilt first, sin (missing the mark).
Are we happier because this man is dead? Of course not, because now there is a war within our own country of people being upset that Obama, our president, is taking full credit for the capture. You see some of you are just outright happier being miserable in your lives instead of seeing that we are a unit. Who the hell cares? Only you that want to continue to not be happy, to continue living in fear, lack and greed. You see, this man's death has only divided you further because now you have something else to be upset about, who is to get credit.
The same reason that those towers were bombed is the same reason you do it to each other each and everyday, FEAR. You are fearful of your brother, you are fearful of seeing yourself through these reflections that hurt and cause you to awaken. It is so much easier for you to continue to hate your brother rather than lay down your arms of defense and truly help him. Fear begets more fear, anger begets more anger, and greed begets more greed.
We are not free in America, that was proven Easter Monday when everyone started accusing Obama for not making an Easter speech and here was the reason. "America is founded on Christianity and we are the leaders of this country." Are you serious?
Divided we stand!!!!!!
America was not "founded" on Christianity, but rather inhabitied by spirituality. The Native American Indians were of one love, one spirit and one force, "WE" Christians killed in the name of God and robbed these people of their peace and replaced it with slavery. It was only when they started defending themselves from our own ignorance and greed that we beat them into submission.
So what this man was saying is that if you're not Christian you don't belong here because we rule this America. And if you really stop and do your homework you realize that the founding fathers weren't Christian ither. But why does everyone avoid that?
Revenge is never the higher mind, nor is celebrating in someone's death other than realizing how YOU do it each and everyday. Don't allow this mans life be of waste and not learn the valuable lessons he had to teach all of us. Killing is never the answer to anything. He killed out of fear, he feared the Muslems. He was killing them and torturing them. What if he didn't blow up those towers would you have been as concerned about his torturing and killing then? Some of you would say yes, but many of you didn't even know this man until it directly affected you on some level.
When are we going to be a free nation, world, globe and/or universe?
Many of you will not be able to take responsibility in how you've done what Osama has done, but rather cast your stones. Isn't it easier to cast the stones on the sins of others than ourselves? But all one has to do is look deeper into their soul to see how they live in fear because Osama lived in fear. How do you kill a person each and everyday with your looks, your words, your deeds, your greed, your better than thou attitude? How do you hide within the rocks and mountains of your own life allowing your ego to divide you from the rest of the world? How do you kill other people that think differently than you or believe this is best for the world?
You see each and everyone of us has done these very acts this man has done and yet we celebrate in his death instead of our own.
I normally do not speak politics or get involved but my heart was aching for all of you that were suffering through this illusion of this mans death, celebrating that now you have freedom. As long as we keep killing out of the name of Freedom we will continue to be seeking freedom outside of ourselves, or through the means of another. Your freedom begins with you.
My heart goes out to all of those that lost loved ones during the 911 attackes, my heart goes out to the families that lost sons and daughters during this war, and my heart goes out to everyone that still feels this fear and lack within their own hearts because they are unable to see that when they separate themselves from their brother they only divide themselves.
How many more lives have to be lost out of the name of freedom? If we truly want freedom for ourselves we must first be able to allow others to experience this freedom. Of course this doesn't mean that we let people get by with murdering folks, but rather not resisting the death of our own souls each and everyday.
All we have to do is read the Christian Bible and we can see the message in healing this planet but for many this isn't a task they are ready to take on. So if you are one of those so be it, but if you are one of those that are ready to add to the vibrational state of our consciousness and truly raise it to the Christ Consciousness revisit your life and take full responsibilty for why you are the way you are by allowing how other people are to be your guide.
"The kindness of his sight rest on himself with all the tenderness it offers others." ACIM
"...in this world is seems that one must gain because another lost. If this were true, then God is mad indeed!" ACIM
Be kind to yourself and you'll be kind to others and remember that your gain doesn't come from another losing anything.
Be kind to your brothers today, no matter what they look like, what language they speak, what color they are, or what religion they are. How in the world can the true Christian faith (love) ever exist when all we are doing is showing false power over others.
Love, Velvete
