As usual I was laying there in bed, just before waking and the dream kept repeating and repeating and repeating. It was a young lady that had asked for something and then this voice asked, "What are you doing?"
When I woke up I remembered this young lady being at like a school and she was talking to me and asked, "Okay so if we can ask for whatever we want and receive it then why can't I?" That's when the voice asked "What are you doing?"
As I thought about this question that was posed in my waking state I realized that many of us not only doubt that it can be that easy, but now we feel there is something else we need to do.
I know you've done this, you ask for something and now you feel that you have to be in control of how that's going to happen or come to you. I know for many it's because they are scared too death now of what they just asked for. They are afraid how that's going to happen. "Oh my god, what if that really comes to me, then what?"
And then it hit me....you see when we ask for something we are surrendering units of power or attention. Most of the time we can feel this as if a weight has been lifted off our shoulders. But then we become fearful that either it's not going to happen or that it is going to happen and now we take those same units of energy and put it into doing something.
Whenever we try to control our environment we are using energy to now block the flow of life, the abundance that already is there and exist all the time. These units of power are now put into the little details in your life rather than just allow things to be as they are.
Now, am I saying that we can't do anything? Of course not. We are Divinely guided all the time in what to say, eat, do, and become. This is from the heart though and the units of power here are free and abundant.
But why does "control" block our energy? Well, you are no longer in trust, love and light because now you think you know what is best and now have to come out of the heart and into the mind in order to "think" that you are in control, this gets exhausting.
Here's another mistake people make, but really there are no mistakes just opportunities to learn when you are in your heart and when you are not. But say that your friend is going back to school and all of a sudden you think this is your idea and you can feel it with all of your being this is what you want to do to. Well here's how you are going to know if this is in your heart being reflected or if you are robbing someone of their power or units of energy.
First, is it flowing for you? Are you able to sign up with ease or do you all of a sudden get a scholarship or grant? This happened when I was just in my early thirties. I wanted to go back to school but didn't know for what. All of a sudden my baby sister said, "Xray is the way to go." and my x husband signed me up. But it didn't' stop there! I didn't know how we were going to pay for this but I didn't' think about it, it was almost like it just happened so quickly there wasn't anytime to think of money. Well, shortly in the first semester I am told that I was just put up for a grant. I won....I got it two years in a row.
Second, if your friend has changed his mind now you change yours. If you go back and forth on what you want based on all the people around you chances are this is not your heart by your mind trying to fit in. It's your mind trying to make sense of it's creation.
Third, what is the end result. Let me tell you something, when I did x-ray school my end result was so that I could take care of my family. LOL well it happened, my x husband left me and I had to take care of my family....all by myself. But I was able to do it.
I know I shared with you the end result regarding massage therapy and it happened. I was able to take us on trips, pay for my daughters wedding, we were able to have money that we needed for the property and house and we were able to just to spend money freely without worry. That was what I wanted for myself and I got it.
That's not GREED! Greed is simply taking other peoples ideas. Greed is not being original, greed is not having the confidence that all is energy and greed is not being assured of ones self.
When we talk about greed and the sense of enough what is that really? It seems like the message is confusing when someone teaches about greed but then the first thing out of their mouth is there is only one of us. And then it gets better when you add that to "what is the sense of enough"?
Greed is simply you robbing yourself and others units of power when you are not willing to allow God to provide. And sense of enough is when you stick with what is in your heart and follow the leads. That's all this is.
There is no world of greed out there, out there. I've said this before and will say it again and again and again. Greed is simply your not being able to go within to see just how abundant you really are. Your sense of enough is fulfilled when you go within and say, "Ahhhh, that's nice."
If you are asking for a relationship in your life and see the end but then sit in your head to "think" about what you're going to say, what she's going to look like, and to know each and every detail in your life of how that's going to be then you are living in Greed. You are living out of not enough. "This isn't good enough, God." And there you have when a sense of enough is truly your blessing. When you know and love that God has a better sense of what you need at that time in your life.
Okay, so let's wrap this up. Controlling every little detail in your life doesn't allow room for God and his glory. Control doesn't allow the freedom of flow in your life, and control is only you thinking that you have any control at all. I learned this when my father in law was teaching me to golf. He said to me one day, "You're trying too hard to control the ball. Just vision where you want the ball to go." LOL, I thought wow is it that easy? You bet.
Just image where you want the ball to end up!
Many of you are starting your year off with a diet, well don't think about all the weight you need to lose, but rather think about the end result of what you look like, the size of dress you wear or the new skinny swim suit you'll be in this summer. You'll notice that the winter will go by quickly and that you look fabulous.
Belief Statement: When I focus on what I want I feel tense and rushed. I don't know if I can get what I want even when I ask for it. I gain frustration while losing hope.
Spirit Statement: I am focused in having peace and calm knowing I am what I am with peace and knowing.
You see, if you feel that you need to even focus on how you are going to get to point A to point B you are not allow God to flow through your life. I'm telling you from experience, this is one beautiful ride.
