It's Christmas morning and all through the house, everyone is asleep, even the mouse. It's only me and the computer that is stirring right now, for I've been awaken to share in this hour.
As I've stated before there is no way that my conscious mind could have put this all together in the fashion that these letters have unfolded during our current study. Now, will others that purchase the Hebrew Letters Class have the same advantage? Of course they will because the same will happen for them when it needs to happen. But for those of you that are in the class right now Resh brings it's full glory on this Christmas morning.
Christmas has many meanings and everyone wants to make claim that this religion or that religion started this celebration. I, too, have fallen into that ego trap as well, which I realized at a very young age how it can separate us from others. You see, I had all kinds of friends, Jehovah Witness friends, Jews friends, Pagan friends, Buddhist friends, and even friends that didn't believe in God. I grew up as a teenager experiencing and accepting all of these people because they were people. They were people seeking, growing and learning just like me. Not at any time did they try to convert me, nor I them.
But let's look at Resh! Resh seems to pack all the good and bad all in one little letter. Resh, associated with roah means "to do wrong" or "badness". However, Resh also is sharing with us beginnings, newness, and literally "head of the year". So when I looked at this letter on this day of celebration I thought, "How does this apply to Christmas?"
Christmas literally was a time of introspect back in the day. It was a time when all the folks would gather around and share stories and food with one another. It was a day of honor what was good in their lives and what they wanted to do better the following year. Christmas then began to be a message of peace and good will towards men, which Resh is asking us to do when it arrives in our lives by reviewing the good in all, but also the good in us. This is healing and compassion to the fullest extent.
Today, Christmas Morning, take a moment to bring yourself to your core values and develop inner peace. Put judgments, and self-righteous attitudes aside today for this will only separate and lead to more suffering. But rather embrace the differences of your family members and know that all is about the internal journey you are on, only you. You are not better than another just because you are a preacher, a teacher, or some High Priest, we are all the same in the eyes of God. Some would like to say different, but that's okay, because this too will be their salvation. They will have the same opportunity to look back on their lives as we all do.
The Christ is within us all, but when we have Resh show up there is a real danger that we are going to start projecting like crazy what we fill sinful for on to others. Prepare yourself with prayer, prepare yourself by going within you Christ Heart and asking for guidance, understanding and wisdom. And when you do this you'll be able to see that others are more than happy to assist you in your own realization.
So on this Christmas Day be the Christ within and love, honor and embrace the joy and peace of all. Love your neighbor as yourself, love yourself as the Christ that you are. Christ came and gave you all the tools necessary, don't be afraid of those tools. Love everyone unconditionally, no matter who they are or what they have done, for only God understands the truth of the actions of another.
Today allow yourself a moment to reflect on what has taken place this year and ask yourself, "How can I bring more light into the world?"
BE THE LIGHT! BE THE LIFE! BE THE LOVE!
Merry Christmas,
Velvete
