Pei me later!

When we think about karma and pay back what is it really all about? What starts the cycle of pay back? When we look at the Hebrew Letter Pei we can see that much of it could come from the words that we speak. These words could be of peace, love, harmony and uplifting or they can be destructive.

Karma is nothing more than the flow or rhythm in life. It's all about whether you are allowing this flow to occur or restricting it. When we restrict it we usually can see our karma pretty quick. You know what I mean, you do or say something that you know you shouldn't but you do it anyway. It doesn't take long to see the results of such actions. And the same for when we do something that we know we are being led to do.

It's interesting because you can usually tell when a person is getting ready to say or do something that they know they shouldn't do or say. They pace around for a while trying to figure out how they are going to get their point across. They will make it seem like you are being unreasonable in some way, and they almost always pout when they don't get their way. This is a person that is developing and growing Karma because they aren't listening to what is being spoken to them. And here we have pei.

Pei is about speech, the ability to speak and create. But what are we creating? Well it's simple, either you are creating and being one with the love and light or you are creating fear and lack, your choice. When we create fear and lack we speak things that we know that we shouldn't but there is some form of expectation or demand that we are making and we want our wishes fulfilled. The other creation is of love and light, to where we know when to speak and not to speak, or the ask and not to ask because we already know the answer or because we respect the wishes of others.

So there is no one that you are destroying with your speech other than yourself. You know in your heart what is right and wrong, but the person that goes for the wrong is like I said, that spoiled child still trying to get their way. But there is no one out there to get your way with so what's that about?

Well, when we look at a person that is using speech, demands, and power to get what they are wanting they are still struggling with the God from within. They are still saying, "But I don't want vegetables for dinner I want a cookie." So they place their demand knowing that it's out of balance.

I can remember as a child asking for something knowing what the answer was going to be so I would manipulate the situation, or do something in order to be able to ask, or I would wait for my moms answer only to say, "oh good that means I get to do it later then." Only to have my mother look at me with those eyes of God that just said, "Velvete, you just manipulated that so you will have to see what that feels like." There is karma. And the worse is making it like it's someone elses fault when you are told no. How many times have we done this as a child? LOL....Lots!

Of course it can be pretty easy to spot a person that's going to do this or be this way because now they are going to be correcting your speech or picking out things that were not totally correct in what you were saying. Why? Because it's their projection that they are seeing about their own speech. They know what their hidden agenda is and they are trying to figure out how they are going to ask or say something to another person and so now they are on high alert to find fault in everyone else and their speech.

What is really interesting today is today is also a number 10=1 which is Aleph. When we combine Aleph with Pei we really need to reflect on our speech. We bring our speech into something, and that something always comes back to us. Always, there's your karma.

So today is about speaking from your heart and expressing gratitude. Let those people that you love and appreciate know that you love and appreciate them. Don't do it out of expectation or commitment, but rather do it with your heart.

Which brings me to another thought I had this morning. When we expect anything out of our actions we automatically put conditions on it, which I like to see them as agendas. It's like, "Well I 'll do that for you if you'll do this for me." A person who is all into that situation is going to be a very lonely person. Why? Because they won't do anything for themselves without a reward. The reward is knowing yourself, helping yourself, being yourself and loving yourself. If you can't do those things then you need to practice random acts of kindness each and everyday.

I love that we are doing these letters right now. They have meant so much in defining my experience. I am so grateful for all the folks that came out last night to help us celebrate. It was a wonderful and perfect fellowship. It's so wonderful when you can put an event together like that and it all just flows. You know why? Because there was no hidden agenda, there was no expectations, there was no need to fulfill something that was missing in me or another, it was simply a life of celebration and thanks.
