Last night was one of the most spectacular nights I've ever experienced. Not only because of the lunar eclipse but because of the attention, awareness and meditation that brought me peace. Such deep peace I slept like a baby. I went deep within myself to give myself the time I needed to regroup and recoup.
Before the event start we discovered that this event was going to take place on the day that we were studying and meditating on the Hebrew Letter Ayin. Ayin is asking us to keep our eyes wide open. It's through this about to keep our eyes open that we see things for what they are. You see what we see isn't really what we are seeing, rather it's what we are looking at.
LOL....okay so to keep you from being confused. As we look with our own eyes there is something else going on that blocks true vision. These blocks can be your concepts, your beliefs, your pain, your struggles...any and all of that. It the point of view in which you observe your reality. So for a person that wears the hat of mechanic may actually see all kinds of things with cars, trucks, and motorcycles, where as a person that is wearing the hat of a teacher sees none of what the mechanic sees.
In ACIM lesson 107 says, "Truth will correct all errors in the mind". This goes on to explain how we are not able to "see" things correctly because of the illusions that remain correcting. How can you begin a to picture a world of beauty if you "believe" that your world is one of pain and suffering? And people will continue to show you just how true this is by giving you all the information you need to prove they are correct.
For those of you that love a good battle when it comes to the government and proving your point that you are right about where you stand, that is still an illusion. You've given yourself something else to focus on rather than clearing up you own illusions, and correcting your vision. I am not asking anyone to give up what they believe! That's up to you. I'm just apply Ayin to today in how we can open our eyes.
As I meditated under the full eclipse early this morning I was being asked, "What is it that you want? What would you like to experience?" Without a doubt I knew the answer to that question with a struggle this time, without thinking it had to be right then, and without feeling that if I don't get it I'm doomed. I went deep within and planted the seed of light. That is what I desire more than anything in my life is light.
Oh of course we know that what we are asking for we are saying that we don't have, but this time I knew I was light but that I wanted to nourish it, love it, and expand upon it like a beautiful forest. So people can say all they want regarding this light, they can even try to take it away from me, keep me from experiencing it, or trying to prove how much light I am not; it will not matter to me what you do for it will only be you that you are doing it to. It will only be what you see and are afraid of that you will react to.
But another thing interesting took place last night. We added up the number of the day and it came to a nine. The ninth letter of the Aleph Beit is Tet. Tet is about balancing both the masculine and feminine energies within us. It's the part of us that we can spiral out of control when either power is abused. I thought it was interesting how the moon represents the female energy and the sun represents the male energy and earth is love. There you have it folks. The Divine Energy shining and showering us with love.
Today we are throwing our Winter Solstice party. We are having a healthy and hearty soup, with bread to break and pound cake for dessert. We'll have our apple cider, our hot teas, and lots of winter time snacks as we make our yule logs, and Clove/orange decorations. We will meditate to singing bowls tonight under the full moon, and then we'll do a little qigong to raise our energy and awareness even further. All things done outside weather permitting. Where we can have a clear view of the night sky while reflecting on love, peace, joy and happiness.
Today is the beginning of winter so please enjoy yourself today and be free. Free your mind and truly allow yourself to see.
Belief Statement: I am not my bills or anything else in life but the feeling of love. I know that with all of my being that this illusion to shall pass. I gain understanding while losing fear.
Spirit Statement: I am everything in life and love knowing reality shall be understanding with love.
