Day 152 of 400 "Release"

As we have stated before attachments can be the hardest thing for an individual to understand and deal with. Attachments are what keep us gripped in fear, doubt, anger and other lower mind attributes. Many will quit just because they are soooo unwilling to release their attachments they prevent themselves Hegrowth.

Release is after willingness because unless you know what it is that you have to release and make a conscious choice in doing so it's just never going to happen. As I write this blog and situation occured to where the husband was blaming our book for splitting up his marriage. There was only a few times that he admited that their problems may have been a result of his actions. He claimed to be a born again Christian and that it was commanded by God for them to stay together. So are we suppose to stay in relationships that cause suffering and pain? Are we suppose to stay with someone just because "man" says that we have to, rather than listening to God? What responsibility do people take in their Christianity? If you believe in the Bible, especially in these days, then you know that it is our responsibility to love and support our partners, male or female.

Release doesn't have to happen if we geniouly wake up, but we're just not going to be able to pretend to do so. Nope! For eons people have been trying to ride the coat tails of others to receive their enlightenment. We've even done it with Jesus' story. We've allowed for 2000 years to let him carry and bare the weight of our own crosses. We've neglected our own awareness saying that we don't have to do anything except accept him as lord and savior. We've avoided our own alignment with Self and God because he said, "Until you are able to do this yourself I am here", so instead of taking responsibility we just said, "okay, since he's doing it for me I'll just sit back a little longer." But what happened is the sleep got deeper and now we have an illusions occuring with so many attachments that we don't even know how to wake ourselves up at all.

We are all of the light and no one is lost....but people can choose their own time to wake up. Many won't wake up until their whole world is taken from them. This will include family, friends, money and more. People this is unnecessary. The reason for Jesus' message about the rich man wanting to know about heaven was because he was able to see this man's attachments. He knew this man loved his attachments more than connecting with his Self. So release is just about accepting these things exist and are able to release them properly.

Anything that you have trouble releasing is a trap of the lower mind and ego, whether job, children, lovers, spouses, etc, etc.

Belief Statement: I understand that my attachments are preventing me growth and this makes me feel weak. I know better even though I gain pain and lose eveything. (This is not for me today, this is a sample process)

Spirit Statement: I see clearly and allow growth and strength. I am joy in everything.

Simple but true. So we can see when we release this statement that we have joy in everything. Things do not make us joyful. Nor do people.
