How can a person expect people to do what they need to do without guidance, support, or love? I've seen way too many business owners and managers yelling, pushing and just expecting employees to do without gentle guidance and love. But who really does that? Well.....it takes practice and patience.
We want to blame others so quickly when things aren't going the way we feel they should, but who's guiding that ship? Who's dictating what is best for all involved? Of course it's important to have someone to set the tone, awareness, understanding and protocol and it doesn't take long to see the little seeds that you've planted. But again, who is allowed to plant the seeds. If your neighbor comes over to plant corn where you have just planted carrots this would be an invasion of our space, time and energy. The only person that should be sowing in their garden is the owner of that garden at that time. We can have many little gardens or one big one, but either way, always know who ownes that garden and who is the planter. If you leave it up to your employees to tend your garden then they are going to grow what they feel they need most, want most, or remove what they don't like. This is never a good balance nor a good working relationship. Set those boundaries loud and clear.
But of course weeding is always necessary when it comes to a healthy garden. If we go in yanking the weeds taking the flowers along with them then we lose the beauty of the flowers while dealing with what doesn't belong. When you go slow in making sure your fingers are around just the weeds then you don't ruin the beauty that we worked so hard to nurtue and love.
How many times have we all just yanked up our beautiful flowers along with our weeds? The flowers will need plenty of water and sunlight just after weeding because the weeds usually have overshadowed the plants with their own desire to have and take. Weeds will rob your garden of water, sunlight, and nutrition. So anytime you need to weed your work garden remember to step back and admire the plants and give them plenty of sunshine and water to help them grow and be all they can be.
Belief Statement: I have allowed too many people to take what I have grown and make it their own and this feels insecure. I don't understand why I do this. I gain having to repeat it all over again while losing power.
Spirit Statement: I give myself freedom in my own feelings of security. I am secure while understanding my power.
