It's the day after Christmas and all the people are out in droves. I was one of them. Had to go shopping for new toys to go with the new toys. LOL
The last couple of days have been such a blessing. Waking up with my husband beside me just enjoying each other's breath. Well....after we brush our teeth of course. LOL
So today I thought I would talk about a clean house. Yep, you heard me, a clean house. After shopping we had bags everywhere and I had started a big pot of Jambalya. OMG was this good!!! Anyway, during the process of all of this I decided to get our video history and TV station organized and cleaned out. There was stuff all over the place. There wasn't a room in the house clean.
As I'm cleaning things up after we ate I thought how wonderful it was that things WERE NOT IN THEIR PLACE. Odd but true. I thought how wonderful it was to play and get things all messy for a change. It didn't take that long to clean up and when I found myself complaining in my head I just gave a moment of thanks for all the things in my life.
Here's what we're going to do now. I've never given the total situation and ego statement away but today I'm going to. It's fun to be alive and live life to the fullest. That might mean we'll get our hands dirty every now and then. But it will be all a symbol that we are living. It might even mean our hearts will be broken a time or two, or miss out on love, but also find love. If you are alive and living you have every opportunity to experience all of this and more.
My house is disorganized and messy and this makes me feel joyful but also a little frustrated. I like being able to find everything I need easily. I gain frustation and lose peace of mind when things are disorganized and messy.

The reality is is that everything is already organized and easy to find. We are the ones that make it hard by complaining and feeling like we are missing something in our lives. We miss nothing. It's a perfect design. Sometimes things are missing in our lives to make us appreciate it even more when it does arrive.
