Release, Part II

As we move through our daily lives there are opportunities each and every day that allow us to see where we are not trusting God. For me this is a daily awakening that brings me to my knees. Being the driven person that I am, with a quick mind, quick heart, and quick spirit, and a person that can think quickly on my feet, I become restless when I'm not able to perform or be who I am.

But the lesson for many of is really releasing even that personality, giving up control in each and every way of our lives that allows us to see who we really are. What purpose do we have in life? Where are we heading and where do we want to go?

If we are working in an environment that is constantly telling us not to think, to do exactly as I have pointed out to you, don't think about it, when you write just write what is written, what in the world can God be showing us? After a while you have to ignore the mistakes. You have to dumb yourself down. But why? What do you think happens when you are told one minute to only write how it is written, but that when you do that you are subjected to all kinds of marks, THAT YOU KNEW WERE WRONG?

As I sat and processed this I realized God was letting me know it's okay to be wrong, it's okay to let people have the control or power that they need in order to wake up. That a great leader is willing to allow others to lead and follow them in order to be the constant light that we all are.

A GREAT leader is able to release control and allow people to be where they need to be or want to be. It has nothing to do about leading troops to the light, it only has to do in allowing the troops to find their light. If that means they need to be the boss of everyone and everything then let them, they will find their light in the exhausted powers they think they have. The leader reserves his or her energy by witnessing those that wish to take on so much that they cant' even breathe. And the leader also allows the troop member that wishes to do nothing and leave it all up to the leader just to have the ability to say, "It's all your fault, you told me to do it that way". How many of us have blamed God that way?

A great leader knows when to push forward and knows when to hold back. A great leader knows when he is no longer needed, and when others do need him; but others are unable to see it out of their own greed and place in life.

The leader knows when to walk away and allow the troop members to be their own leaders and learn the same lessons that every leader must learn, release!

There's a big difference in a person that releases stuff just to prove a point, and a real leader that has faith and confidence in his team members. A true leader, like a trusted knight, doesn't worry about losing his status with the King, because he knows that this is a direct reflection of his own connection with his king within.

A true leader supports, nothing more nothing less. The knight supports the king by making decisions that are best for his troops and the over all kingdom. Where are you lacking kingship over your kingdom?

For me, I have learned much about release, even when someone is pressuring me to be in control I have learned to let them go. When anyone is trying to force their will on to you then you know this is a strong message to release what no longer serves you. Those that call others control freaks love the fact they can use that against another person because it's really them saying how out of control they are and want you to take over. When they can no longer manipulate you into THEIR control, they become very, very fearful. Why? Because they were only controling you in to believing they needed you so if and when they fail they can blame you.

A true leader, a true knight never blames his troops. He takes the bullet for them all. He stands before the king and protects his troops just as much as he protects the king. The true leader knows his destiny is only within him.

Enjoy your day and be your own KNIGHT.

Love, Dr. Velvete
