As I opened my yahoo page and saw that leaders are asking Christians not to practice yoga. I originally had no response to this but then I thought why don't I have a response to this, what is it I might be avoiding within myself. Then it hit me! Not to become like them. What are you serious, not to become like them?
Absolutely, because as long as there is this is wrong and that is right, stay away from the but do this instead we are all still divided. So just because I do YOGA doesn't mean that I have to separate myself from my church or any organized religion that I might attend. But rather, stick with what feels right for me and have the confidence in what I am doing without a doubt.
There are Christians all over the United States that practice yoga, they have seen the health benefits, the relaxation and meditative benefits. So it's not time to give all that up if it benefits you. But the real question should be what is it that causes so much fear in someone to say stop doing anything.
So the question isn't to do yoga or not, but rather why not. What is it that Christian leaders are afraid to see? That we are all one? That they are losing control over the minds of many? That they feel that if we wake up they have to become more responsible for their own actions rather than projecting their fears onto others?
Funny, but this is true. Many times when you see an organization say, "Don't do this" numbers increase in doing exactly what they asked people not to do. Think about your teenager when you asked them not to do something, they usually did it anyway.
Who is your Master? Who is your guidance system? If it's fear then don't do yoga and remain ignorant. If it's love, give yoga a try and see and experience the benefits.
Yes, I know I used the word ignorant but these people are only asking others to do what they themselves are afriad of. This is darkness, this is keeping and staying within the illusion, this is the lie, and this fear.
So I'm glad I looked at this further rather than just letting it go. We all need to know that as long as we are divided anywhere within the mind or outside the mind then we are not being Christ like.
Oh, and on that note, Jesus was a Jew folks. He did not come here to change the law but to bring it to life. He didn't come here to separate us, that's clear throughout the Bible, he came here to show us the one thing that brings us together....The Word, and LoVE. That's it. If you have that you have it all.
Belief Statement: It's not my concern about yoga and this makes me feel complacent. I think people should get a life and gain peace while losing nothing.
Spirit Statement: I am yoga and engaged knowing people are the life, the peace and the everthing.
