Telling others what is wrong!

There is a famous quote by Marshall Rosenberg, "Telling someone what was wrong with them never got me what I wanted from them." How true is this in our daily lives. As soon as we tell a child, "Are you crazy? That's not what I asked you to do", they will immediately shut down because we've already judged them. I've done this myself and understand the feelings on both ends of this.

We are all teachers in life. We aren't really teaching anyone else but ourselves. We learn from the feelings that we get when we've hurt someone or something, and we learn from what it feels like to make someone feel good about themselves. It's simple, do you like talking to people that are uplifting when talking to you, or do you like people that sound like they know it all and are unwilling to bend? I've been on both ends of that nasty little stick too. LOL

What about our spiritual teachers? What about those that run around in circles avoiding the question with just another question? Or what about those teachers that set students up to fail just so now they can appear superior to their students? What about the teacher that gives a student a formula to follow but that when the student applies it within their own life against the "Will" of the teacher the teacher rejects it? We've all had it happen to us at one time or another in our lives. But what is this reflective of? Well, if we believe that God brought us here as a form of punishment if we fail the test then hey we have teachers that are going to reflect that back to us. If we believe that God is void in our lives then we are going to be lead by people who are going to actually believe they are so close to God that they forget that everyone else is God as well.

But how do we begin to see what really is? Simple, clear communication! When a person tells you that you are not nice or you've been bad they have stepped into judgment of you and about everything else in their lives. They are projecting their own badness on to you. This is not CLEAR! And this is assumption! We have to begin to see what "is" to free ourselves of the what "if". My daughter calls this power over another and she is absolutely right on. I asked her the other day how the 7-Steps has helped her with her relationship with her daughters and she said, "The power is equal. There is balance within the relationship so that one is not trying to over power the other, but rather work in harmony." What a blessing!!!!!

When we recognize people we can either take it personally, or recognize it for what it is. That they are struggling with there own power, their own will, their own desire to be CLEAR when obviously they are not. To mean they were clear would mean there would be no challenges and everyone would move with ease. They would speak to the heart of the people rather than speaking AT the heart of people. A teacher would give clear direction and guidance to the students because they are clear within themselves.

Teaching for me is such a blessing for I know that I benefit just as much as my students each and every time. Not because I'm making mistakes that they can learn from, but rather that I'm coming from a place of Love and Appreciation for the work God has given us all to do, to be ALIVE. To live with passion, joy, grace, love, abundance and more...not just for ourselves but for everyone. My students touch me deeply because when their faces light up when they get an aha from the process, or are able to say, "Wow, I really get that", then I know I am coming to CLEAR.

We can become so GREEDY to what we want in life, such as empowerment that the empowerment now becomes dis empowerment. Greed shows up in many forms. As a teacher greed is shown when we are not prepared for the classes that we are about to present because now we are just throwing it out there to see what will happen. This is greed. Why? Because this is not divine guidance. Divine guidance doesn't just throw anything out there to see what "if", but knows what "is". If you attend a conference you're not going to show up unprepared because God will guide you into what needs to be. Now, once you get there that's different, now you let God work because He has prepared you. He has all His tools ready at his finger tips. You're going to be organized and fashionable about your presentation because God is CLEAR!

Greed also shows up when we are working on one class, preparing for another class, and planning more classes without having direction. I reason with myself when I become over booked. I know I am only one person. And I know that I'm not going to meet everyone on the face of this earth, but rather meet the people that God has planned for me for my blessing. So if this is two people I am blessed because it's the two students I'm suppose to have. If I have no clients that day, I'm double blessed because now God has given me the time I need to listen to HIM and get other things in order. I am never left without anything to do and sometimes we just need to be still and listen. It also seems to be that when I am clear with the message that I have been given that people just show up to hear that message. It's something that they were seeking and I just happened to be given it to share. It's not that I'm more special than you or anyone else, it's just simply that when we take GREED out of the equation all kinds of doors open to us. I have found it's because I'm not leaning on the other side of that door holding it shut with dear life any more.

Belief Statement: I was greedy for enlightenment and felt sad because I believed that I was unworthy and I allowed someone to be just as greedy as myself to be my teacher. I gain frustration while losing patience.

TRFI: I am greedy for enlightenment and feel sad because I believed I was unworthy and allowed myself to be greedy in teaching myself frustration and needing patience.

Spirit Statement: I am the enlightenment and joy because I am the image of grace while teaching peace now.
