It's interesting that when we unblock the hidden beliefs that keep us imprisoned how our world instantly changes. The Power is no longer an energy of reserve but true power in flow, just allowing. Power can be seen as something that is exerted, but true power is not external, it's internal and always present.
I realized yesterday that with this kind of power one must really learn to appreciate it, for it can be of ruin as well. Not of course on anyone else but truly yourself, but real never the less. I also came to appreciate that knowledge is not power at all, but many times it appears as such because of force. We've all been made witness to this very fact; it's the person that goes around acting as though they are an authority on everything that they "learned". When a person acts like this they are using force because they lack the experience of application and application is where wisdom is born. If their application of this knowledge is fear based and external then this is force, if their application is of the self with love and patience then this is power. For we have the ability to change our internal world and it will have direct results on our external world.
Recently we hired a young lady to train our horses. She said something very profound, and true yesterday, "Everyday is a new day to learn. Everyday is another day to practice something new. We never know it all, even when we've saddled a horse a hundred times." This is so true. I've seen so many people saddle up horses that are pros and always wondered why they have to stop and think about it, or redo it. It's because they, at that very moment at being one with the horse. They are now claiming power of peace. And there is no better way to learn that except around a horse, if you're not calm, they're not calm.
So knowledge can be very dangerous for many because now they have a false sense of power. I am not saying gaining knowledge is right or wrong, but rather, if it is not tempered with humility and compassion then power can be miss used.
I had a lady that use to shop at my store and would always come in to tell me about this herb, parasites, cleanses and this is good for this and this is good for that. I used to sit and just listen because I realized that it was through this new awareness of knowledge and the strength that it was giving her that she was getting ready to explode. You've seen it, we've all seen it! Now, just because I own a health food store and I'm a naturalist at heart doesn't mean that I can't learn something new. However, I am very clear on when people are exerting their energy over mine when they have a point to prove. I've learned the hard way but it's there.
This has come up before about people and their power but worth mentioning again. When someone feels they have a point to prove this is force, not true power. True power comes from within in knowing that everything is okay. It doesn't mean sticking your head in the sand and acting as if nothing is going on. It simply means owning and respecting the power within who you are.
So the 7-Step Process frees those blocked energies to allow us freedom from beliefs that keep us imprisoned. They are the energy blocks that we use as security nets, they are comfortable and have become a part of who we "think" we are, not really who we are. So the next time you do a process feel it within you and take ownership of the lie. It's okay, we all lie, and knowledge can be a lie, but wisdom is the realization and the ability to discriminate between the lie and truth.
Today's belief statement is going to reflect an issue that so many people come to me with, work/job.
Belief Statement: I hate my job and it's killing me and this makes me feel frustrated and unhappy. I have to keep this job because of my current responsibilities and I don't know how I'll make it if I quit. I'm gaining frustration and losing peace.
Now, I have compassion for this person because I've been in these shoes. But what I didn't realize at the time is that my unhappiness is right where the ego wanted me. It wanted me in doubt and fear. So when I released this situation to God I just asked God to open a new opportunity to me because I was ready to release this current situation. So now we will do the spirit statement.
Relief Statement: I love what I do while truly being me and this is true peace and happiness. I do what I love because I am powerful in knowing I live calmly with peace.
It is easy to see how the ego loves to play games. But what the understanding here is that if the person does what they truly love they will be have more peace and happiness in their life. Ego loves to make us feel we are always missing something. God, on the other hand, is always allowing us to see the support in our lives. When we do what calls to us and what makes us happy, true happiness allows for me happiness. We don't gain happiness externally! External processes will always only be band aids.
So who has the power here, knowledge or wisdom? Knowledge! Because the person is only making choices off of what they know but have yet to experience by releasing themselves to true faith and love.
I want everyone to know I understand how hard change is. I've been in so many situations in my life that I just had to ask, "Are you kidding me?". Homeless, hungry, abandoned, and more...... But I allowed my inner wisdom to guide me and bring me to true power and understanding.
Enjoy,V
