Day 175 of 400 "More Distractions"

What a beautiful morning. I just had to stand outside several times this morning to enjoy the cool breeze, the birds singing, and the gentle sun on my face. It was absolutely gorgeous. And while on my way in to work this morning everything looked so crisp and clean, the air was crisp and clean and the sky just seemed clearer. I'm thinking, "Wow, what will I write about today?".

LOL....it doesn't take long to get an answer. So I'm pulling to McD's to get a cup of coffee when I see this kid just jumping around, all in his own little world. I'm thinking how great it must be for him just to be in his moment and enjoying what he's doing. He's not worried about anyone looking at him or anything, he's just doing his thing. Well there is the white car with this man driving that is starring at the kid. He's turning into McDonald's from the opposite direction as myself and he comes to a complete stop right in the middle of the drive way to stare at the kid. I just sit there waiting for him to go on.

Now I'm right behind this guy for the drive thru lane and all of a sudden he looks up in his rear view mirror and he starts acting like he just lost his mind. He puts on his breaks and is swinging his fist all around in the car and he's looking at me like I'm suppose to know what he wants.

Once I realize that this guy was going to stay right there and not move I went around him and couldn't help but to laugh. He did it to another guy too but this guy wasn't laughing, instead he was really upset and sped up around him giving him the you know what. LOL

As I'm sitting there waiting for my cup of coffee I thought about how distracted this man had become while admiring this young man. His anger was due to the fact that he was now not in present time. He was confused and bewildered and was now taking it out on everyone else around him. He was not going to honor that he was being blinded by his own curiosity and awe. Do you know how many people do that? A lot. I mean they are in their own little world and when something happens to snap them back into present time they act as if their soul was just ripped apart.

Well folks, it was. That's why it is so important to stay focused and in the Now. That way you are always in touch with your higher self and mind rather than allowing it to drift off into a place that it has a hard time coming back from.

So the next time you find yourself wanting to admire what another person is doing, pull over and watch while allowing folks continue in their own journey. And don't get in the way and get mad about it just because you can't stay focused. This is true for no matter what is going on in life. You have those that are present and shakers in all that they do, and then you have those that are always trying to slow others down, simply because they themselves don't want to feel inadequate or have to take responsibility for anything. So let's process this today.

Belief Statement: People are unaware of others around them and this makes me laugh. It's interesting to me how people can make it seem like your fault for popping into their world and startling them. I gain awareness while losing time.

Spirit Statement: I am aware of myself laughing. I'm interested in shifting my reality with ease while aware of the now.

LOL....makes sense to me.

Enjoy!
