Day 96 of 400 "Health Care Reform"

As promised here is the quote of Dr. Martin Luther King, “When they give it to rich people, they call it subsidy. When they give it to poor people, they call it a hand-out”, (Williamson 132).

"It is evident that the government of America has its own agenda, its own value system of deserving and undeserving. This government has certain roles and responsibilities to the people which it governs, and establishing guidelines for a healthy society is a must", from The Emotional Nature of Man and Spirit; The Necessary Union for a Holistic Government by Dr. Velvete H. Womack.

During this particular reflection I was expanding on how Slavery still exist. We may call it by many different names but anytime you have a group of people that you are "making" do something then you have enslaved them. Remember the American Indians were also told or made to conform because we thought it was for their best interest and a race now almost non-existent.

Why am I bring this to the table? Because we all knew our health care system was in trouble, we all knew that something needed to be done, but looking at it as a give or take, or take away to give to someone else may be a little distorted. Everyone believes something different for their own lesson, but also believe something different based on their distortions.

So how do we help each other through this? My way may not be the way of thousands of Americans but it could start people thinking, isn't that what's happening right now? All of this is causing us to think.

Let's just do a process and see what is happening here.

Belief: People believe there is going to be a war because they feel their rights are being taken from them and feel scared and angry. They don't know how this has happened. They are gaining fear while losing security.

Spirit: Everyone believes in freedom because they know their rights are freely given to them with love and happiness. They know this happens with love and security.

If we look at this way we know we must look at things through the eyes of love, appreication, compassion, and understanding. There are millions of people that need our help right now and they are here to help us grow within ourselves while they are growing and learning too. To ever say that we know it all and if they would only listen and do what they are told they would make it too would not be compassionate, yet demoralizing to say the least. So lets remember that it is our responsibility to help our neighbors and to love them in that assistance. Not that you are any better then them but that you are compassionate about them.

So lets quit calling it a hand out, lets quit talking that they are taking money from us, lets join in a common ground with compassion and loyality to God.

Enjoy!
